lunéa

An assistant that grows with your needs.

Look up SOPs, document meetings and ask questions of connected systems. Create your own skills to adapt lunéa to recurring tasks. Your hospital defines the sources, tools and approvals.

Use AI securely and on your terms

Create content, analyse information and research topics. Your hospital decides which AI models, tools and data access are approved.

lunéa answers a sample question and presents a traceable result

Make complexity manageable.
Turn knowledge into action.

From a question to a result you can use.

Four examples from everyday hospital work. With the right sources, tools and approvals, thousands more use cases become possible.

Nursing & clinical departments

Find the right SOP.

Ask about an internal procedure. lunéa searches approved documents and points you to the relevant passage.

The result: an answer with its source and document version.

Explore document knowledge

Meetings & teams

Capture decisions. Keep tasks on track.

Record and transcribe even lengthy meetings, then create minutes using your preferred template. Capture tasks, owners and deadlines in a structured format.

The result: draft minutes ready to review and take forward.

Explore meeting documentation

Bed & ward coordination

Find a suitable bed. Coordinate admission.

Multiple agents check bed availability and staffing ratios against your criteria. They identify suitable wards and establish contact to coordinate the next steps.

The result: suitable options and an agreed next step towards admission.

Explore care coordination

Clinical coding & reimbursement

Understand how cases are grouped.

Look up classifications and coding guidelines in Atlas. Use Grouper to review individual cases or Section 21 hospital datasets and compare results.

The result: a classification with the version used and the grouping criteria that determined it.

Explore case review

Technology & development partner

Built with the people who use it.

Together with Katholisches Klinikum Bochum, we develop lunéa around the demands of everyday hospital work.

Explore the partnership

One interface.
The right access.

The information and tools available to staff reflect their tasks and permissions.

Your hospital defines the approved sources, interfaces and operating conditions.

Secure use. Full control.

Your hospital decides which models, data sources and tools may be used.

Aligned with each role and task

Support for every member of staff within the existing permissions structure. Each person’s access rights also apply to their assistant.

Put interoperability to work

Connect existing systems through their available interfaces.

Control over data and deployment

Your hospital determines where the system runs and how its data may be processed.

One interface. A continuous workflow.

lunéa brings chat, documents, tables and connected applications into one interface. View and work with information in the context of your current request.

Your tasks.
Your skills.

A skill combines a task with approved knowledge sources, tools and response rules. Describe what it should do. lunéa asks for the necessary settings and creates a draft. Your hospital’s designated reviewers check it and approve it for the intended roles.

Create skills

Describe the task and choose the knowledge sources and tools. lunéa asks for the required settings and creates a draft for review.

lunea.app.fluint.health/creator

Animated skill creation preview: a nursing education assistant is described. The name, model, response settings, data space and tools are confirmed. The draft is then ready for expert review.

  1. Describe Describe the task in chat. lunéa creates a draft and asks for the required settings.
  2. Clarify The assistant asks for any missing details.
  3. Ready The draft is ready in the library for review and approval.

The skill library

New skills become part of the library: adopt them, adapt them and develop them together. Share the skill, not the personal assistant. A shared skill always responds within the requesting user’s permissions.

Meeting documentation

Knowledge

A selection from the skill library.

  1. Set visibility The person sharing a skill decides who can see it.
  2. Review & approve The responsible department checks sources and results; IT checks access permissions. The skill is then approved.
  3. Use Adopt, adapt and use the skill in your own assistant.

What your hospital needs to get started.

A clearly defined use case is enough for the first deployment. Add further data sources and actions where they are needed.

01 · Department

A task and its sources.

Choose a clearly defined use case and the documents approved for it. Assign responsibility to an appropriate subject-matter owner.

Document-based questions do not require a connection to patient data.

Define your use case

02 · IT & data protection

Define access and deployment.

Agree on user groups, models, hosting and logging. For data from clinical systems, assess the available interfaces and permissions.

The scope of integration depends on the sources and actions required.

Deployment & integration

03 · Together

Review, approve, expand.

Test typical questions with the department. Check source references, answer quality and access permissions before extending use.

Add further skills and workflows as needed.

Discuss your starting point

Your hospital sets the framework.

Choose models, data sources and deployment to suit the use case. Technical integration complements expert review.

Models & hosting

Choose how it runs.

Run the application and language models in your own data centre or in a German cloud. Connect enterprise models through their interfaces.

The chosen configuration determines how data is processed.

Discuss deployment options

Documents & systems

Connect the sources you need.

Provide documents in a data space or connect an existing source. Queries to the HIS, CDR or other systems require the relevant interface.

Agree on data access and permitted actions for each use case.

Discuss integrations

Permissions & approvals

Make responsibility clear.

Set up user roles, permitted data access and approvals together with your hospital. New skills undergo expert review before they are shared.

Define confirmation and review steps for automated workflows.

Skills & approvals

Seven stages of growth.

Each stage extends what is possible. Your hospital chooses its starting point based on its needs and available sources. Custom skills and automated workflows are reviewed and approved step by step.

  1. 01

    Provide secure access to AI

An approved AI service for staff. Your hospital determines access and action permissions and retains control of its data.

  2. 02

    Support everyday work

Draft, revise, translate and structure content. Core skills make AI useful from day one, even without additional data sources.

  3. 03

    Open up knowledge

Connect quality management manuals, SOPs and procedure instructions. Staff get answers from the hospital’s knowledge in their own language.

  4. 04

    Work with your own data

Use tables and databases to answer specific questions, such as selecting and analysing patient cohorts for hospital performance management.

  5. 05

    Bring in specialist expertise

Atlas and certified groupers add specialist tools for DRGs, service groups, clinical coding and reimbursement.

  6. 06

    Create your own skills

Describe tasks in conversation and select knowledge sources and tools. Create your own skills and share them in the library after review and approval.

  7. 07

    Add workflows and automation

Combine skills into multi-step workflows and automate recurring tasks. Your hospital decides which steps run independently and where people review and approve.

Frequently asked questions about lunéa.

How lunéa opens up knowledge, manages access and supports everyday work. The key answers at a glance.

How can AI search internal hospital knowledge?
Your personal assistant can access knowledge held in management manuals, SOPs, procedure instructions and other internal documents. Your hospital selects the sources: create a data space with approved content or connect an existing source such as SharePoint, a file server or Confluence. Staff ask questions in their own language and receive answers grounded in approved documents, with sources and document versions. Learn more about connecting document knowledge.
How does role-based access work?
Each member of staff’s access rights also apply to their assistant. Roles come from the hospital’s directory service through single sign-on via AD or Entra ID, without a separate permissions system. Access can be controlled down to field level, with restrictions for wards, departments and specific queries. Every data access is logged, and the logs remain within the hospital.
What can the assistant do initially, and how does it grow?
Start with core skills that require little or no additional context: drafting, revising, translating and structuring content. Add document knowledge, context from tables and databases, and Atlas and Grouper tools to extend support to specific operational and financial tasks. A joint workshop determines the right starting point for your hospital. Learn more about getting started and expanding.
Who decides what the assistant is allowed to do?
Your hospital defines which steps may run automatically and which require confirmation. The responsible team reviews new skills and approves them for the intended user groups. Learn more about creating and approving skills.
Does the language model calculate reimbursement?
Grouping is performed by the relevant InEK-certified grouper version. Reimbursement is calculated from the grouping result and selected parameters. The language model calls these tools; it does not replace their calculation logic. See Grouper and Atlas.
